About the Studio
Gal & Matsliah Architects plans and designs office buildings, hotels, and commercial centers alongside residential towers, private homes, penthouses, and luxury apartments.
Among our notable projects: the Nechalim Towers residential complex in Petah Tikva, the tower at Givat HaAhava, urban renewal projects in Tel Aviv’s Old North, Kiryat Ono, Petah Tikva, and Holon; mega-offices on Galgalei Haplada Street in Herzliya Pituach and HaNofer Street in Ra’anana; corporate offices for Sodexo, Keshet–Channel 12, Kenes Group, and a wide range of top-tier apartments and penthouses.
“Our guiding principle is to treat every project — large or small — as a complete architectural creation. Every project receives the same level of dedication and professionalism.”
Studio Philosophy
Our Total Design approach enables a true dialogue between the building’s interior and its outer shell — in full integration with the urban context — to form a cohesive architectural entity.
“Our towers, office complexes, and residential spaces embody innovation and reflect a sense of movement and dynamism — a true State of the Art expression.”
Why did you choose this profession?
Kobi: “I'm second-generation in this field. My father was a contractor, so I literally ‘grew up on scaffolding’ — the path was natural for me.”
Vered: “My late father had a scientific mind and taught math and physics, while my mother — may she live long — was an arts teacher and still creates to this day. I chose a profession that beautifully blends both worlds.”
What motivates you each morning?
“Our dialogue with clients, who are our true creative partners. It's refreshing every single time to see our shared vision take shape. We strive to bring to life designs that carry meaning and tell a story.
We love seeing people pause and reflect when they encounter our work.”
What’s the boldest decision you’ve made?
“To partner and establish a studio where each of us brings our individual strengths and blends them into our shared work. Since founding the firm 17 years ago, our disciplines have gradually merged.
We complement one another and contribute to creating a cohesive and enduring design experience.”
What does your free time look like?
Kobi: “I’m passionate about the arts — painting, photography, sculpture. I also collect art pieces that resonate with me.”
Vered: “I love being in nature — exploring and learning about the natural world and its fascinating forms. Nature is my ultimate source of inspiration as an architect.”
Your ultimate tip for young architects:
“Stay open to new ideas. Zoom out to see the big picture, and from there — create enriching experiences.”
